Slouching and Anxiety: Is There a Connection?

Do you find that you feel anxious but you aren’t sure why? Do you slouch when you sit, stand and walk?

Stop doing this.

When you slouch, whether it is when you are sitting, standing or walking, your brain registers this as a threat and activates your fight, flight or freeze response.

Your brain then triggers the release of adrenaline. Adrenaline causes women to feel anxious.

So, sit, stand and walk tall and you will feel less anxious or perhaps not anxious at all.
