Are you feeling overwhelmed? Do you have an endless to-do list?
Say no to one activity or item on your to-do list this week.
You are not a bad person for doing this. Give yourself the permission to do so. You will find this to be quite liberating.
Say no to one more activity next week.
Especially say no to an activity that makes you really resentful. Imagine how light this will make you feel.
If you never say yes to people’s requests because you never extend yourself, say yes and follow through. This will touch your heart in ways you never thought were possible.
Saying no to something you usually say yes to and saying yes to something you usually say no to is great self-care.
